Ellen Lepak began her career in accounting in Springfield, Massachusetts — accumulating a wealth of knowledge and depth of experience. Working in a diverse range of business environments, from controller for a legal firm, to consultant to a retail establishment, Ellen utilized her management and organizational skills to enable these businesses to grow into highly profitable entities. She was granted a Connecticut CPA license as well as Massachusetts CPA license and became a principal at Fred Wright & Co, CPAs in the 1980s, where she led and managed the firm’s tax department. She earned her Master’s of Science degree in Public Accounting from the University of Hartford, where she was recognized with a Bachelors of Arts, Magna Cum Laude, during her undergraduate studies.
Ellen is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA), the AICPA Tax Division, and the Connecticut Society of Certified Public Accountants (CTCPA) where she is a member of the Continuing Professional Education, Federal Income Taxation, State Taxation and the Trust, Estate, and Gift Taxation Committees.
