Nancy Riella has over 30 years of public accounting experience. She began her career working for a small public accounting firm, then progressed to a position with the Internal Audit Department at Aetna, in both the financial and information technology audit areas. In 1987 Nancy started her own CPA firm specializing in small business and individual taxation, valuation and planning issues. She brings extensive industry experience in legal services support, manufacturing, not-for-profit, retail, and a variety of service industries. Nancy holds two additional professional designations; CVA: Certified Valuation Analyst in 2001 and CFF, Certified in Financial Forensics in 2008. These designations allow Nancy to better assist clients in achieving their business and personal goals. Nancy also assists the legal profession on behalf of her clients, and the clients of her CPA colleagues. Nancy graduated Magna cum Laude from Quinnipiac University and also has a Masters in Business Administration from the University of New Haven.

Nancy is highly committed to service, and believes strongly in giving back to one’s profession and community. For example, Nancy volunteers on Continued Professional Education committees for the CT Society of Certified Public Accountants. She is a past President of the CT Chapter of the National Association of Certified Valuation Analysts (NACVA), and on the Board of Directors. She is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA); the CT Society of CPAs (CTCPA); and the National Association of Certified Valuators and Analysts (NACVA). In addition to her professional affiliations, Nancy is highly involved with Rotary International. She is a member of the Colchester Rotary Club, having held all offices, and serves with Rotary District 7980 as the District Chair of Vocational Training Teams (VTT).
Nancy enjoys sailing aboard the sloop, “At Last” as well snow skiing, cycling and hiking throughout the year. Her view on life… “I stop and dig in the garden… enjoy smelling the roses, eating good chocolate, drinking red wine and dancing my way through life.“
